I was in very recently with my daughter to pick up some food for our local animal shelter.  My daughter was distressed at the low level of supplies the shelter had for the cats.  Joel and the lovely woman who also was there (I didn't get her name) sprung into action to try to help.  While she went through stock to donate, Joel got on the phone to his contacts to see if they could pitch in as well.  I've already gotten word back that they have.  What I want to point out is that I went in to BUY food and didn't even ask for the help that came unprompted.  My daughter and I left with our car loaded with high-quality food for the dogs and cats at the shelter and will return to pick up more.  We were incredibly moved by the kindness of the folks at Montclair Feed & Pet Supply.  It is always best to shop first in Montclair.
